Junior Kenneth “Kacey” Cognevich has achieved a superscore of 36 on the ACT®. A Stuart Hall alumnus, Cognevich is the son of John and Katie Cognevich.

At Jesuit, Cognevich serves as junior class president on the Student Council Executive Board and also contributing as a junior advisor/representative on the Mu Alpha Theta Board, secretary of the Spanish Club, and a big brother in the Big Brother Program. Additionally, he is a member of the National Honor Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, Sodality of the Immaculate Conception, Sailing Club, Jesuit Medical Society, Model United Nations, and Peer Support.

Beyond his academic and co-curricular endeavors, Cognevich actively participates in his community as a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Parish and serves on the board of the Hams for Fams organization.

Cognevich is considering a future in medicine or business.

Above all, Jesuit relentlessly pursues God’s greater glory. While students’ academic accolades reflect the school’s mission, they are not the mission itself. They instead signify that Blue Jays are becoming the men that they were made to be: men of faith and men for others.

Alongside celebrating students who attain these academic accomplishments, Jesuit also highlights graduating seniors who are named winners of highly selective merit-based national scholarship competitions. Click here to read about more of these students.
