Regular Order, Day 6

• During the month of November, the Catholic Church prays for the those who have passed away. There is a book of the Dead in the second floor chapel where you are invited to write the name of a loved one who has passed away and whom you would like us to remember at Mass this month. Stop by the chapel anytime to write a name down.
• The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
• Model UN will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 210.
• The Movie Critics Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 221.
• The Investment Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 334.
• The varsity football team will host Archbishop Rummel tonight in the regular season finale at The Shrine with kickoff set for 7:00.  Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase at the front desk today until 3:30 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $8.00 each for adults and students (non-Jesuit) and $3.00 each for children.  All tickets purchased at The Shrine are $10.00 each.  Student ID’s and season passes will be accepted at the gate for this district contest. Jesuit fans should park in Lot A and enter the stadium via Gate #1.  Note that both parking fees ($10.00 per vehicle) and concession purchases are cashless.
• The swimming team will compete in the Metro Meet this afternoon and on Saturday at Franco’s.  Today’s prelims begin at 3:00, while Saturday’s finals start at 2:00.
• The varsity cross country team will compete in the Region 3 Meet at City Park this afternoon starting at 1:45.
• The varsity wrestling team will open its season on Saturday competing in the Warrior Open at St. Michael the Archangel in Baton Rouge starting at 9:00.
• The jv wrestling team will host and compete in the Jesuit JV tourney on Saturday in the Benson Arena starting at 9:00 a.m.
• The varsity soccer team will scrimmage at Dutchtown tonight starting at 6:30.
• The varsity basketball team will scrimmage Sophie B. Wright on Saturday afternoon in the Benson Arena starting at 3:00.
• An admissions representative from Oglethorpe University will be available during lunch today in the College Counseling Suite.
