David Paul, a junior at Jesuit High School, has achieved the highest possible score of 36 on the ACT®. Paul previously attended St. Catherine of Siena and is the son of Akkara and Smitha Paul.

In addition to his outstanding academic accomplishment, Paul has been actively involved in a variety of clubs and organizations at Jesuit. As a member of the Jesuit Medical Society, he has demonstrated an interest in the medical field, and he has also taken on the responsibility of assistant chief editor for the yearbook club. Paul’s strategic thinking is showcased in the Chess Club, while his mathematical prowess is displayed through his participation in Mu Alpha Theta.

Paul’s dedication to the sciences is evident in his role as the rising president of the Dissection Club, which allows students to explore anatomy beyond dissection opportunities already available in Jesuit’s various science classes. Furthermore, he contributes to the school community as a member of Jesuit Men of Color and the National Honor Society, demonstrating his commitment to fostering a supportive environment for all students.

Above all, Jesuit relentlessly pursues God’s greater glory. While students’ academic accolades reflect the school’s mission, they are not the mission itself. They instead signify that Blue Jays are becoming the men that they were made to be: men of faith and men for others.

Alongside celebrating students who attain these academic accomplishments, Jesuit also highlights graduating seniors who are named winners of highly selective merit-based national scholarship competitions. Click here to read about more of these students.
