Regular Order, Day 5

• Student Council’s Christmas Week events continue today with Pictures with Santa and Karaoke in the Commons. Student Council will also distribute a plethora of Christmas cookies and candy canes throughout lunch. Door decorations will be judged Tuesday after school. 
• The Fishing club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 313. 
• The Ice Cream Social will meet today during the second half of lunch on Will Clark Field.
• Anyone interested in trying out for the Jesuit track and field should meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 228.  This meeting is for new and returning athletes.
• The Video Games Club will meet today after school in Room 120.
• Model UN Team members are reminded to turn in their registration forms this week to Mr. Trosclair in the Social Studies Office, Room 205.
• The Robotics Team will meet today after school until 5pm in Room 307.
• The varsity soccer team plays at Destrehan this evening starting at 6:00.  The JV game follows at 7:30.
• The 9^th grade soccer team faces Lusher at Marconi starting at 5:30.
• The 8^th grade basketball team hosts John Curtis this evening in the Benson Arena starting at 5:30.  The 9^th grade game follows at 6:30.
• Seniors: if you scored in the top 10% on the PSAT, have a 3.5 or higher GPA, and identify as African American or Black, Hispanic American or Latino, or Indigenous, the CollegeBoard is opening up the opportunity you missed in the spring to apply for their National Recognition program. If you qualify and have questions, see your college counselor ASAP and view the announcement posted in Canvas under your College Counseling page. If you already received recognition, you don’t need to re-apply.
