From Crescent City Sports:

Crescent City Sports continues its live streaming coverage of high school baseball Thursday night with a District 9-5A matchup between Jesuit and Brother Martin.

CCS’ coverage will begin just prior to the 6 p.m. first pitch from Jesuit’s John Ryan Stadium in Metairie; despite the location, Brother Martin will be the home team for Thursday’s game. Ken Trahan and Danny Riehm will describe the action.

Thursday night’s game is the first of a two-game district series between the Blue Jays (24-3, 4-3) and Crusaders (15-10, 2-5). The second game of the series is scheduled for Saturday night at John Ryan.

Senior outfielder Tripp Haddad leads Jesuit at the plate with a .420 average, two home runs and 37 RBI – an average of 1.4 per game. Two-way standout Holden Hess is batting .377 and is 4-1 with a 1.18 ERA.

Brother Martin is led by Cameron Senior’s .453 average with a homer and 14 RBI. Colin Roussel comes into Thursday’s game at .406 with 14 RBI.

As of Monday, Jesuit is second in the unofficial LHSAA Division I power ratings, just behind first-place Byrd, while Brother Martin is seventh.
