Another soccer season, another district title for the Jesuit Blue Jays (14-0-1, 5-0). Jesuit traveled to Rummel on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, and left with a solid 3-1 road victory against their Catholic League rival.

The Jesuit offense came out with a vengeance and scored two goals within the first couple of minutes courtesy of senior defender Max Hanemann and senior forward Trevor Reichman.

A couple of minutes later, senior Joe Pacaccio increased the deficit to three for the Raiders by scoring his second in as many contests.

Senior Noah D’Aunoy held down the back by pressuring the ball, keeping possession, and making critical clearances. Senior Chris Schmidt and sophomore Carter Dusang controlled the flow of possession in the midfield that set up opportunities in the attacking third.

While the second half produced a slower pace, Jesuit held on to win the game by a score of 3-1.

The Jays will look to capture an unbeaten regular season against Grace King on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at John Ryan Stadium at 2:30 p.m.
