Over 500 hundred fathers and sons experienced a morning of bonding and spiritual growth at Jesuit’s annual Father-Son Mass on January 9, 2021. To meet social-distancing requirements, the event was split into two separate Masses in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs on Jesuit’s campus.

After each Mass, Blue Jay sons and dads were treated to heartwarming stories told by 3 Jesuit students. Daniel Douglass and Garrett Derbes spoke after the 9:30 a.m. Mass, and Sam Adams spoke after the 11:00 a.m. Mass. At the first Mass, Connor Caplinger and his father Charlie Caplinger ’83 served as gift bearers, and Dickson Chamberlain and his father John served at the second Mass.

Loupe photography covered the event and also took photos of dads and sons before Mass to provide a memento for the special morning.
