After a long, grueling cross country season, Jesuit finished as the state runner-up in Natchitoches with 2 runners finishing in the top ten. The Jays ended the meet with an impressive 66 points, a score that was only beaten by LHSAA State Champion Catholic of Baton Rouge’s 44.

Sophomore Jack DesRoches led the Jays with a time of 15:39, and senior Jack Wallace was not far behind with a time of 15:50. Those times were good enough for 4th and 6th place respectively.

The rest of the Jesuit squad also performed well. Freshman Lucas Sampedro finished 13th with a time of 16:01, senior Stephen Peterman finished 21st with a time of 16:19, junior Morgan Hebert finished 23rd with a time of 16:20, freshman Michael Vocke finished 30th with a time of 16:37, and sophomore Patrick Dowd finished 47th with a time of 16:53 to round out the Jays.
