Faculty Meeting Order, Day 5

  • Friday will be a Blue and White Day. Wear a blue, white, or blue and white collared shirt or a Jesuit imprinted t-shirt to show your Blue Jay Spirit on Friday.
  • Any juniors interested in doing Krewe de Camp for their service project will meet today at the start of lunch in Room 212.
  • The Investment Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 334.
  • Student 2 Student will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 202.
  • Jesuit’s chapter of Students Demand Action will be meeting today during the second half of lunch.
  • Members of Mu Alpha Theta attending the Brother Martin Tournament on Saturday will meet for practice during the second half of lunch today and tomorrow in Rooms 227 and 229. Pre-Freshmen and freshmen attending will meet in Room 330.  Details will be posted outside of Room 328.
  • Did you hear about the overly serious Chess player who was a kleptomaniac?  He kept taking things, literally.  You can meet this klepto at today’s Chess Club meeting at 3:00 p.m. in Room 332.
  • The varsity soccer team will host Central Lafourche in the regional round of the state playoffs tonight at John Ryan Stadium starting at 6:30.  Admission price for adults is $7.00 each and $5.00 each for students and children (ages 6-12).  Note that student ID’s are not accepted at the gate for LHSAA playoff contests.
  • Spanish Club will meet for Latin cooking tomorrow after school in the commons. New members are welcome.
  • Students interested in signing up for the Born to Run 5k and fun run to support the Women’s New Life Clinic can do so through the link on the Jesuit website. The deadline to register is February 20.
  • Any NHS members who are in need of service hours may work after school today and Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. making phone calls for the Alumni and Development Office. Food and drink will be provided. Please see Mr. Chapoton or Mr. Ferguson if you have any questions.
  • The junior-senior intramural basketball schedule has been revised. Games continue today. Check the schedules in homeroom or on the first floor bulletin board.
