Wrestling Takes Third in District, Preps for State

The Jesuit wrestling team hosted the Catholic League District Wrestling Championships on Saturday, Feb. 1, in the Gayle & Tom Benson Arena. The top three teams were exactly as they were in 2019, as the Blue Jays finished third behind Brother Martin and Holy Cross.

The Jays will host Rummel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, for Senior Night. Head coach Sheridan Moran and his team of grapplers hope to finish the regular season with a win for the seniors, the home crowd, and for momentum heading into the state championships in Bossier City on Feb. 14-15.
