Regular Order, Day 1

  • Students interested in working on Calliope, Jesuit’s literary magazine, will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 221. Nominations for editor positions will be taken. See Mr. Bowes or Mr. Wyss with any questions.
  • The General Student Council will meet today during the first half of lunch in the auditorium.
  • Students participating in the YMCA Model UN Conference will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 214.
  • Juniors attending the January Kairos retreat should meet for a brief meeting immediately after school today in Room 224. See Mr. Flores if you cannot attend.
    The Academic Games team will compete in the first round of the Presidents tournament today after school in the cafeteria. Please see Mr. Holmer today if you cannot attend.
  • The varsity basketball team will open district play tonight hosting John Curtis in the Benson Arena with tip off set for 7:00.  The JV game begins at 5:45.
  • The varsity soccer team will host Dutchtown tonight at John Ryan Stadium starting at 6:00.
  • Biotechnology Club will meet this Thursday after school in Room 317 to perform a presumptive blood test, blood typing, and blood stain analysis. This activity will take about one hour. Please sign up in Room 317 or respond to your Canvas e-mail to participate so that enough materials will be available.
  • All members of the junior class in Program I must attend a meeting today in order to receive materials and information necessary for the scheduling of senior courses for next year.  The meeting will be held during the first half of the lunch period in St. Ignatius Hall.  If you are unsure of the curriculum program that you are following, please ask your homeroom teacher.  Please do not fail to attend your particular meeting – it is important!
