Regular Order, Day 2

• The Swim Team will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 334.
• The Fencing Club will meet today after school outside the library.
• Tryouts for the Varsity Bowling Team will take place today and Wednesday from 3:45-5pm at AMF All-Star Lanes in Kenner. All are welcome to tryout. Please see Mr. McCabe if you have any questions or concerns.
• The varsity basketball team will open its season tonight at South Laforurche with tip off set for 7:00.  The JV game begins at 6:00.
• Top’s tip of the day: Life is about choices make the right choices each day.

• Results:
• Congratulations to the Varsity Football Team as they advance in the State Playoffs with a 33-0 shutout versus the Archbishop Shaw Eagles. Offensively the Blue Jays rushed for over 200 yards led by Senior Running Back Raider Jackson who rushed for 85 yards and scored a touchdown, while Junior Running Back Jalen Williams also scored on a 3 yard run. Junior Receiver Luke Laforge had 100 yards receiving and had a receiving touchdown and Junior Receiver Luke Besh added another. Defensively the Blue Jay front was led by Senior Defensive End Evan Tafarro who had a sack and 2 tackles for loss while Junior Max Jubenville had 13 tackles. Good Luck this Friday  as the Jays advance to play the John Curtis Patriots at West Jeff.
