Jesuit Presents Its 2019-2020 Homecoming Court

The Student Council proudly presented the 2019-2020 Homecoming Court at halftime of Saturday night’s football game against St. Augustine. The Court was formally greeted on the field at Tad Gormley Stadium by Jesuit president Fr. Christopher Fronk, S.J., Jesuit’s Jayettes, the MCJROTC Color Guard, and accompanied by music from the Blue Jay Marching Band.

The Court processed across the field in the following order and with the following introductions:

This year’s freshmen couple is Mr. Kyiori Washington and Ms. Jayden Clomon. Kyiori is a member of the Football Team, Medical Society, and St. Peter Claver Club and is also an Oschsner STEM Student Ambassador. Kyiori’s goal is to study Software Development at LSU. Jayden is a Freshman at St. Katherine Drexel where she is a member of the Band and Track Team. She would like to study Sports Medicine at Tulane or Dillard University.

This year’s sophomore couple is Mr. Jack Wangler and Ms. Paris Carlos. Jack is a member of Jesuit’s Band and Paintball Club and is an active member of the Boy Scouts. He would like to pursue a career in Business. Paris is a freshman at Archbishop Chapelle High School where she is a member of the Soccer Team. She can see herself studying Law at LSU.   

The first senior couple is Mr. Jude Donnaud and Ms. Elisabeth Brown. Jude is a member of Sodality, Peer Support and Lacrosse Team He plans to attend LSU. Elisabeth is a Senior at Dominican High School where she is a Eucharistic Minister, managing editor of the yearbook, and member of the Pro Life, Ecology, French and Stewardship Clubs. She would like to study History and Law at LSU.

The second Senior couple is Mr. Michael Holcomb and Ms. Adeline Ripberger. Michael is a member of Jesuit’s ROTC and practices jio-jitsu in his spare time.  He plans to study Biochemistry. Adeline is a Senior at The Academy of Our Lady and enjoys art and graphic design, which she plans to study in college.

The third senior couple is Mr. Grant Jordan and Jordan Kleehammer. Escorting Ms. Kleehammer was senior Taylor Herrington. At Jesuit, Jordan quarterbacks the football team and is a Student Council homeroom representative. Grant intends to study Business and Law. Jordan is a senior at Academy of the Sacred Heart, where she is Vice President of the Student Council. Jordan is also Co-Captain of the Jayettes. She plans to study Psychology at LSU.

The fourth senior couple is Mr. Joe Lombardi and Ms. Piper Prouet. Escorting Ms. Prouet is senior JoJo Sandoz. Joe is a member of the Varsity Football Team and is also a member of Sodality, Pro-Life Club, and Campus Ministry. He would like to play football in college and study Medicine. Piper is a senior at Mount Carmel Academy and is the Jesuit cheerleading captain. Piper would like to cheer in college and eventually become a doctor.

The fifth senior couple is Mr. Nathaniel “Effy” Marks and Ms. Alexandra Brothers. Escorting Ms. Brothers is senior Cam Arroyo. At Jesuit, Effy is the Student Body President, on the Varsity Football Team and a member of Peer Support. He plans to attend Ole Miss. Alexandra is a senior at Dominican High School, where she is a Eucharistic Minister and a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Biotechnology Club, National and English Honors Societies. She also co-captains the Jayettes. Alexandra plans to pursue a career in medicine through Louisiana State University.

It is with special pride that Jesuit announced the Senior Maid who was elected Queen by the senior class at Jesuit.  The 2019-2020 Jesuit Homecoming Queen is Ms. Adeline Ripberger.

This announcement concluded the Jesuit High School Homecoming Court presentation. Congratulations to every member of this year’s court, who will also be presented at the 2019 Homecoming Dance on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
