Lacrosse Jays Bear Down Catholic on Senior Day, 17-7

Senior Presentations kicked off a fun-filled Saturday for Jesuit lacrosse players, who defeated Catholic High by a 10-goal deficit at Joe Yenni Stadium. Honored on April 6 were the following seniors:

  • Mitchell Blount #28, Defense
  • Ross Champagne #12, Attack, C
  • Zachary Charneco #31, Attack
  • Elliot Hattier #4, Attack, C
  • Cooper Posecai #33, Goalie
  • Michael Schmidt #2, Midfielder, C

The Blue Jays followed their 17-7 victory over the Catholic Bears with a 11-7 district win over the Newman Greenies.

Jesuit plays its final game of the regular season against Northshore on April 13, and the Jays are set to face Northshore again for the district semifinal game.
