Special Order, Day 3

• Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place today in the 2nd floor chapel. Due to the early dismissal, benediction will not be held.
• Check in at the Bazaar Welcome Tent to receive a coupon for free French Fries and enter the hourly drawing. $25 will be given away every hour to a current student. Winner needs to be present. If the winner is not present, the money rolls to the next drawing to increase the prize money.
• To be eligible for the Raffle Ticket Holiday and other prizes, raffle tickets must be turned in by 3 pm today in St. Ignatius Hall.
• Top’s tip of the day: Each one of you have a responsibility to keep this campus clean.

Results:

• The Junior Varsity Baseball team defeated Hahnville 2-1 Monday.  Carson Miller pitched the win, and Michael King earned the save for the Blue-Jay-Vs.  Cameron DesRoches provided the game-winning RBI with a two-out line drive double.  The defensive play of the game cut short a Hahnville rally when Michael Britsch executed an over-the-shoulder catch of a ball batted to deep left field and threw the ball in to double off the Hahnville runner who was running on the pitch.

• Last week, the Academic Games team completed local play in the game of On-Sets. Jesuit’s two senior division teams tied for first place. In addition, Junior Milan Mardia earned a perfect score and finished in second place after a playoff match.  This marks the first time any school has won all five games played in the New Orleans Academic Games League! The team will be traveling to Orlando next month to compete with over 1,000 students in the National Tournament.
