Volunteers Needed for the Back to Banks Bazaar!

The Back to Banks Blue Jay Bazaar is now on two days, Friday & Saturday, March 22-23, 2019. The re-imagined event will feature Friday night Lenten fare, with pounds and pounds of delicious seafood and music by the Bucktown All-Stars. The fun will continue on Saturday with plenty of food, refreshments, activities, raffles, and live entertainment from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There are still a few spots available to volunteer on Bazaar on Friday or Saturday! Serve up some delicious food, work a shift in a fun-filled booth, and much more!

FROZEN FOODS – Sign Up Online for Frozen Foods

Prepare and freeze your favorite dish or entrée for the frozen food booth. Your entrée will help a blue Jay family on a busy night when cooking seems impossible. Items should be labeled with (1) the name of the dish, (2) cooking instructions, (3) number of servings, (4) approximate cost of making the dish, and (5) the name of the donor. Please contact Christin McMath at (504) 289-5724 or christin_bordelon@progressive.com with any questions.

SWEET SHOPPE – Sign Up Online for Sweet Shoppe

PLANT BOOTH – Sign Up Online for the Plant Booth

The plant booth is in need of donations of pots, succulents, hanging baskets, flats of flowers, orchids, garden décor, topiaries, house plants, vegetable plants, and small fruit trees. Donations should be labeled with the name of the item and the donor’s name. Please contact Tara Doyle at twdoyle7@gmail.com or Julie Relan at gusgretch@aol.com with an Plan Booth questions.

Drive-By Donation Drop Off on Thursday and Friday (March 21-22) from 7:00 AM – 7:45 AM!

Drop off your Blue Jay and your donation at the same time. Volunteers will be available in the carpool line to grab your sweets or frozen foods. Donations will be accepted at the Blue Awning Entrance on Banks St. during the remainder of the day.
