Soccer Defeats St. Aug, 8-0
The Jesuit High School (JHS) soccer team defeated the Purple Knights of St. Augustine, 8-0, at John Ryan Stadium on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
The Blue Jays seized the opportunities that Tuesday’s sunset game provided them. Junior Chris Dusang opened the scoring in the fourth minute, and five more first-half goals followed. In the second half, sophomore Trevor Reichman delivered a beautiful cross that found junior Davis Laibe for a header goal. Senior Ashton Perkins closed the scoring with a netted free kick.
