The Jesuit MCJROTC program received overall high marks, including outstanding grades for a group of exemplary cadets, in its annual inspection.

On Wednesday, Dec. 5, the inspection was conducted by local Marine recruiters SSgt. Carver, SSgt. Nunez, SSgt. Anaya, and Pvt. Brocato from Marine Forces Reserve Headquarters in Algiers. The inspection entailed a personnel check of the entire Cadet Battalion, as well as the Color Guard, led by junior Darren Tsang, and unarmed drill platoon, led by junior David Lawerence. In total, one hundred and thirty-one cadets were inspected, and of this group, eight cadets received a perfect score of 115 points—100 points for uniform and 15 points for knowledge—on their personnel inspection. The recognized cadets include freshmen Joseph Finger, Peter Gravolet, and Aidan Schwarz; sophomores Adam Essa and Will Verett; juniors Dylan Blady and Darren Tsang; and senior Dominic Schof.

The event concluded with LtCol. Tim Huete ’87 and MGySgt J.R. Piseno presenting the Marine inspectors with a commemorative Jesuit MCJROTC coin as tokens of appreciation for their time.
