Jesuit’s cross country team scored a 9th-place finish in a 20-team field at the St. Paul’s Christian Brothers Invitational on Sept. 16 at Money Hill Plantation in Abita Springs.

A quintet of seniors accounted for Jesuit’s scoring on the day. Jonathan Arnold led the Blue Jay pack, followed by Brenner Rauch, Michael Williams, Chris Ross, and Clay Talbot.

Catholic High (Baton Rouge) took top honors for the meet, while host St. Paul’s narrowly edged Brother Martin for second place.

The Jays head to Pensacola, Florida, next weekend for the Gulf Coast Stampede.
