Sophomore Cole LaCour serves one up in Jesuit's win over Holy Cross on Tuesday, April 4.

Sophomore Cole LaCour picked up a big win at Line 2 doubles against Holy Cross.

Jesuit’s tennis team posted a 7-0 shutout win over Holy Cross on Tuesday, April 4 at the UNO Tennis Center.

Juniors Andrew Ryan and Christian Lacoste led the way, picking up singles wins at Line 1 (8-1) and Line 2 (8-0). Ryan and Lacoste then teamed up for an 8-4 win at Line 1 doubles.

A pair of freshman closed out the singles competition. Dex Webster won 8-3 on Line 3, while Sid Trouard notched an 8-4 victory on Line 4.

Senior Leo Seoane and sophomore Cole LaCour put in a solid performance at Line 2 doubles, winning an 8-3 decision. On Line 3, Webster and Trouard completed the sweep with an 8-1 decision.

Next up for Jesuit is a showdown with the Brother Martin Crusaders, who beat the Jays back in December. Match time is 4:00 at the UNO Tennis Center.
