Blue Jay Golfers Approach Dual Match Finale

Jesuit’s varsity golf squad plays its final dual match of the year against the Patriots of John Curtis on Tuesday afternoon, April 12, at Lakewood Golf Club.

The Jays come into the Curtis match with four consecutive dual wins, including last week’s contests against Brother Martin and Holy Cross. The Jays defeated the Tigers by 40 strokes, 144-184. Grant Glorioso led all golfers with a 34 for the nine-hole competition against the Tigers. Britton Khalaf and Jake Kuebel each sh0t 36 while Carlo Carino carded a 38.

Two days before Holy Cross, Jesuit and Brother Martin played a close match with the Jays coming out on top, 149-156.

Looking beyond Curtis, the Jays will be competing in next week’s district tournament, scheduled Monday, April 18.
