The Jesuit Blue Jays won the 2018 Lacrosse District Championship with a win over Brother Martin. Next up is the state semi-final game against St. Paul’s on Saturday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. The semi-final will take place in Lafayette at St. Thomas More.

The left-most, southbound lane of S. Carrollton Avenue is scheduled to be closed in the weeks ahead. The tentative date for the start of the lane closure is Wednesday, April 25, and the closure is expected to be in effect for two weeks.
The regular season for the Jesuit baseball team ended with a loss to Brother Martin (BM) after a long wait caused by a rained-out, postponed Game 2. Now, the Blue Jays are hoping to extend their season into the month of May by winning its first playoff series against the Shaw Eagles.

Adam Francis, Remy Lavie, Carson Keller, Dowen Fife, Marseyas Fernandez, Kel Villarubia, John Hamilton, and Jack Saucier were just eight of the many students who picked up the newest issue of the The Blue Jay, Jesuit’s student newspaper.

Staff members of The Blue Jay participated earlier this semester in the Journalism Education Association conference at Loyola University’s School of Mass Communications. The newspaper placed second in the Best Headline category, and five Blue Jays won top three individual honors.
