Parents of New Students to Attend Orientation Wednesday Night
Several administrators, staff, and volunteers will be on hand Wednesday, Aug. 21 to welcome parents of new students to the New Parents’ Orientation and Mini-Schedule.
The orientation begins at 6 p.m. in the Jesuit Auditorium. Various administrators will detail what new parents can expect and how to get the most out of their sons’ first year as a Blue Jay. Parent and alumni volunteers will also speak about upcoming events, such as the Parents’ Annual Giving Drive, Celebration, and the Rivalry Game with Holy Cross.
Following the presentation, parents of pre-freshmen and freshmen will have the opportunity to spend five minutes in a “mini-schedule” of their sons’ classes to meet teachers and learn about course work for the upcoming year. The mini-schedule for parents of 10th – 12th grade students will be the following week, Wednesday, Aug. 29. Refreshments will be served in the Student Commons following the mini-schedule.
