Regular Order, Day 3

  • This Wednesday, Oct. 10, is the school-wide standardized testing day. 8th and 9th graders will take the PSAT 8/9, and 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT. There is no school for seniors that day. Students in 8th through 11th grades are reminded to bring a calculator and sharpened #2 pencils for testing. Students should report to their testing rooms in full school uniform by 7:45 am. Juniors should note that they will take the PSAT with their homerooms in classrooms on the first floor. 8th and 9th graders are expected to finish testing between 11:15 and 11:45; 10th and 11th graders are expected to finish testing between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Please see your guidance counselor if you have any questions.
  • Student 2 Student will meet today and tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 202.
  • The Foosball Club and Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today and Thursday during the second half of lunch in Room 329.
  • The Fencing Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 231. All new members are encouraged to attend.
  • The golf team will face Holy Cross this afternoon at Bayou Oaks starting at 4:00.
  • Seniors: College application workshops will be held on Tuesday and Thursday of this week both before and after school. College counselors will be available from 7-7:45 before school and from 3-3:45 after school on both days in CL-3. Stop by with any questions you may have.
  • An admission representative from Berry College in Rome, Georgia will be available during lunch today in Room 122.
  • Top’s tip of the day: Water bottles are to be put in lockers or book bags not carried around.
