Seniors, Parents, and Faculty Congregate for Baccalaureate Mass
Two hundred and eighty five soon-to-be Jesuit High School alumni convened in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs on Saturday, May 20, for their Baccalaureate Mass. The group is the largest senior class in Jesuit history.
The Mass was led by Jesuit president Fr. Christopher Fronk, S.J. He was assisted by school chaplain Fr. Kevin Dyer, S.J., and Frs. Billy Huete, S.J., and Donald Saunders, S.J.
Following Mass, a reception was held in the Student Commons.
The seniors will formally graduate on Tuesday, May 23, in a ceremony at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner. Seniors are reminded that they must be present for graduation rehearsal on Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Pontchartrain Center. The commencement ceremony starts promptly at 8 p.m.
