Blue Jay golfers ran their spring record to 2-0 by downing Metairie Park Country Day, 157-193. The match was played on Tuesday, March 17, at English Turn.

Junior Grant Glorioso led the way with a 37. His brother, Grayson, a freshman, shot a 39. Senior Francis Plough, who finished at 40, and junior Johnny Cedro, who tallied a 41, rounded out the Jesuit scoring. Freshman Jake Kuebel’s 46 was discarded.

On Monday, March 16, the Blue Jays defeated Newman, 148-170.

Jesuit golfers will be at Lakewood Golf Club on Thursday, March 19, when they’ll open the district season against Archbishop Rummel. Tee time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
