The Jesuit wrestling team finished as the LHSAA state runner-up behind state champion Brother Martin and ahead of last year's champ, Holy Cross. Four Blue Jays took home individual state championships, and one earned a runner-up trophy.
Fr. Kevin Dyer, S.J., will present to alumni, current parents, and parents of alumni on the topic of gratitude in the spiritual life.
For the fifth time in the last eight championship games, Jesuit will face a familiar opponent in St. Paul's. Students are invited to load Saturday's spirit bus to watch the much-anticipated final (details in article).
After a season-opening win over St. Augustine, the tennis team takes to the road this weekend for the McGill-Toolen Invitational in Mobile, Alabama.

Lenten Saltine Challenge…

Senior Paul James demonstrates the “Saltine Challenge” at Morning Assembly by chewing as many crackers as possible. Student Ministry president Jake Theriot uses the opportunity to introduce the Saltine Fasting Challenge for the first Friday in Lent. Students sign up in the Campus Ministry Office to receive a half-sleeve of saltines, which will replace their lunch on Friday. This fast not only allows students to enter the discipline of Lent but will also show solidarity with the poor. Each week during Lent, Student Ministry will introduce a new challenge focused on prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
