Jesuit High School of New Orleans

Storm Closure, September 9, 2024

As directed by the Department of Catholic Education and Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Jesuit High School will be closed on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Additionally, Jesuit will suspend all after school activities tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10, so that families and our faculty and staff may make the necessary preparations for the storm. Decisions regarding any further closures will be made once more information becomes available over the coming days.

The student council delivered an outstanding Jesuit Olympics during Welcome Week. The days were filled with entertaining activities and friendly competitions. New students experienced the Blue Jay spirit through rounds of javelin, archery, jousting, equestrian events, and a dunk contest. Special thanks to the executive board for their hard work in planning a successful event.
