Bowling Closes Season Corralling the Broncos

Senior Peyton Hidalgo led the Jays with a 658 series over Zachary.

The Blue Jay varsity bowling team corralled the Zachary Broncos with an easy 25-2 road victory on Monday, March 15.

The Jays took a strong lead after the first game, up 490 pins and winning all 8 points. The gave up only 2 match points in the second game, and charged back to sweep again in the third.

Senior Peyton Hidalgo led Jays with 258 and 235 games for a 685 total series. Contributing high scores were senior José Cuscó who bowled a 527 series and sophomore Trent Greco who bowled a 536 series.

The Blue Jays (7-4) will celebrate Senior Day when they compete in their regional qualifying event Monday, March 21, at Bowlmor AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner. Play begins at 1 p.m.
