Tryouts for next year’s Cheerleading Team are on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 in Jesuit’s gymnasium on Banks Street.

Tryouts are open to anyone who will be attending an all-girls Catholic school in the 2016-17 school year and will be entering grades 9-12. Tryouts are designed for all cheerleader hopefuls as well as returning cheerleaders. The co-ed squad performs at basketball and football games, parades, school functions, and state cheering competitions.

Registration begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. For tryouts, you will learn a cheer, a chant, and a small dance routine. Teaching takes place in the morning with judging in the afternoon.


Please wear full-length white shirt; dark-colored, modest, athletic shorts; and tennis shoes.

Have ALL of your hair pulled back and out of your face. Hair must be in a high ponytail.

No jewelry (Medical ID Tags are permitted)

What to Bring

Pack your lunch and bring plenty of water

A copy of your most current report card

Tryouts Schedule

Registration – 8:30 a.m.
Class- – 9 a.m. – noon
Lunch – noon – 1 p.m. (Bring your own lunch.)
Judging – 1-4 p.m.
