Blue Jay parents of alumni returned to Carrollton & Banks on Wednesday, March 18, to reflect on “The Lord’s Prayer in Daily Life.” The 4th Annual Parents of Alumni Evening of Lenten Reflection included a 30-minute presentation by Jesuit president Fr. Anthony McGinn, S.J. ’66, which examined the “Our Father.”

The complimentary event attracted more than 100 guests who gathered in the Chapel of the North American Martyrs for the reflection and Mass.

Jesuit thanks the following parents who offered their assistance. Jose Abadin (father of Cal ’11, Felix ’13, and Jorge ’14) read from the book of Isiah, while Carmela Van Hook (mother of Colin ’00) led the congregation in the Responsorial Psalm: “The Lord is gracious and merciful.” Abadin’s wife, Judy; Joe Taranto (father of Todd ’01); and John Hummel (father of John ’86 and Vincent ’88) served as ushers.

The evening also included a reception in the Student Commons and a guided tour of the newly-renovated Holy Name of Jesus Chapel.
