Peer Support for Parents

Peer Support for Parents is a parent group on campus for those interested in learning more about issues relevant to parenting teens, such as motivating students to improve, study skills, alcohol and drug prevention, and bullying, just to name a few. Parents will hear a presentation by counseling staff and/or guest speakers. Following the presentation parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss/share their own experiences, thoughts, and ideas related to the topic. It is a great way for parents to learn helpful information about issues affecting teens and to gain insights from each other in an informal, small-group setting.
