"I Do Solemnly Swear..." Jesuit Student Council Officers Take Their Oaths of Office at Morning Assembly


Congratulations to the 2009 - 2010 Student Council Executive Board:

Stephen Capella (Junior Class President), Cooper Petagna (Senior Class President), Greg Schwing (Secretary), Michael Catalano (Vice President),
and Mason Triay (Treasurer).

Friday morning at morning assembly, the
2009
- 2010 Student Council took their oaths of office before the student body.

Jesuit principal Michael Giambelluca swore
in the new student council president
Jack Zeringue.

After taking his office, Zeringue first official act as president was to install the new student council executive board.

With the new officers now in place, student activities for the 2009 - 2010 will soon be underway.


 


 


MISSION: 
The Student Council is composed of representatives from all grade levels. Its purposes are to:

  • Serve as a unifying agency in support of all school activities;
  • Foster in the students a sense of the ideals of Jesuit High School and to inspire the highest type of school spirit;
  • Provide a means of creating better fellowship and understanding between faculty and students and among students themselves;
  • Provide greater opportunity for self-government and experiences in democratic practices by affording a realistic representation of the views of the student body;
  • Foster a growth of spirituality within the student body.
