Cheerleaders

Cheerleaders promote school spirit by leading students and other fans in support of Jesuit events. The cheerleaders are one of the most visible organizations in the school. They promote sportsmanship and develop positive crowd involvement. They participate in a number of service projects and attend competitions.

Blue Jay Chorus 2013-2014

Chorus

The chorus assists the school community at all liturgical functions. The program offers technical training in voice, music reading, interpretation, and appreciation. Activities include performing at special school functions, Christmas caroling at various locations throughout the metropolitan area and possible participation in the All-State Senior High Chorus, participating in District VI Senior High Chorus, Solo and Small Group Ensemble and Large Group Ensemble festivals, as well as State Rally.

Jayettes 2013-2014 Squad

Jayettes

Jayettes is an all-girls dance team composed of girls in 8th-12th grade from local Catholic high schools. The squad supports the Blue Jay Band by performing in basketball and football game half-time shows, parades, school functions, and band competitions. The Jayettes also participates in state dance competitions. Tryouts are held each spring and practices are held with the band during the school week typically from 4-6 p.m. See also Blue Jay Band.
