A Message to Prospective Students and Their Parents from Michael Giambelluca, Principal of Jesuit High School

The process of choosing a high school is complex and one of the most important decisions confronting parents and their sons.

Mike Giambelluca, principal of Jesuit High School and a 1982 Blue Jay alumnus

Jesuit High School is a Catholic, college preparatory school committed to developing young men of competence, conscience, and compassion. Every student who walks through the doors of Jesuit High School possesses unique, God-given gifts. Through our comprehensive educational program, Jesuit students nurture and refine their gifts, whether they are spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, or social.

Jesuit High School has had great successes throughout its 166 years of existence. These accolades have been the result of much hard work on the part of the students. Yet, despite a challenging curriculum in a structured, disciplined environment, our young men are genuinely happy. Our students possess a unique sense of loyalty and affection for their school.

The total result of the Jesuit experience is to bring each student closer to the destiny that God has in store for him, a destiny that calls him to be a man of faith and a man for others.

Finally, a word about Jesuit’s tuition, which is $7,700 for the current school year, one of the lowest among private and Catholic high schools in the metro area. The school has a generous financial aid program for families who are unable to pay all or part of the tuition.

We pray that your visit will be fruitful in providing the insight that enables you and your son to select the best educational institution for him.
