Below is a photo study of two Jesuit football plays from Saturdays game against Rummel.
The first series catalogues senior wide receiver Brycen Kochs first touchdown catch
against the Raiders defense. The next series focus on senior defensive lineman
Warren Bondis solo sack of the Raider quarterback.

When viewing these series, you will note that each shares a similar characteristic:
Determination.
Check out the action below!

Offensive Photo Study: Brycen Koch Scores a TD

Senior Brycen Koch (14) catches a nice pass in traffic from senior quarterback Ethan Oddo.

A Raider defensive back (21) attempts to tackle Brycen...

...but he fails as another Raider steps in and attempts a high tackle on Brycen.

As the original Rummel defensive back falls away from the play, Brycen pulls way from the second Raider
attempting to stop him. Trouble appears to be brewing for Brycen as other Raiders converge on the scene.

Brycen has broken free from the second attempted tackle, but now he finds himself
turned from the end zone and the Raider defense coming in.

Brycen gets his bearings straight and turns for the end zone. It doesnt look good for the Blue Jay.

As Brycen makes his turn and heads for the end zone, some blocking help
comes from senior wide receiver Cooper Petagna (85).

Brycen has a half step on the bad guys...

Cooper seems to have bought Brycen a second or two as Koch makes his way to the goal line.

Now, Raider defensive back (28), who was the second man to attempt to pull Brycen down, is back in the play.
Looks like this Raider will make a shot to trip up Brycen.

It doesn't look good for the Blue Jay, but....

...Brycen will not be denied.

Determination leads to this score!!!

Defensive Photo Study: Warren Bondi Sacks the QB

Senior defensive lineman Warren Bondi (29) may lack the size and speed that many athletes who play his postion possess.
However, he surely has the determination that leads to his successful play.
Here, Warren fights through the Raider line and makes his move on the quarterback.

The wrap up is almost complete. The QB is definitely in trouble.

Warren stays with the Raider as the quarterback attempts to turn out of the tackle.

Warren drives the Raider quarterback toward the ground.

Warren has both feet off the ground in this shot.

The quarterback is in trouble... it is only a matter of time now.

The only thing the quarterback can do now is make sure he does not fumble the ball.
Warrens determined play...

...leads to this quarterback sack.
