Kirsch-Rooney Stadium
Sunday, June 14, 2009

Tickets, please... Mr. Ernie Abadie, who works the gate at the first district games,
is a fixture to all the visitors at Kirsch-Rooney .

Retif pitcher Stephen Lukinovich took the mound against Peake BMW.
Stephen pitched a complete game and earned another solid win.

A Tad High... Retif batter Brady Williamson lays off the high pitches.

Retif infielder Josh Faciane shows a sure glove in the field making a play on this ball and...

...and getting into position to field another ground ball for an out.

Retif base runner Briggs Barrios scores the teams first run of the game

Retif catcher Derek Dunham steals second base.

This is a great defensive play by Cory Guidry... Here, Cory makes a difficult stop
on a well hit ball, pulls the ball out of his glove...

...and throws a strike for an out to pitcher Stephen Lukinovich, who is covering first.

Retif base runner Brady Williamson beats the tag and scores
what eventually will become the game winning run.

The Shady Rest Hot Spot... With the exception of the covered seating at Kirsch-Rooney, the only shade
during a midday game at the park is a small and obviously popular corner down the right field line.

Back to the action on the field... here, Retif infielder Brady Williamson
snags this foul ball for a big out with a man at third.

Its mine... Retif base runner Briggs Barrios beats the tag to steal second.

Great Catch in the Sun... Retif outfielder Gary Langlois fights the sun
and a well hit ball to glove an out just shy of the wall.
