They were stars when they played football for the Blue Jays. Now it looks like Deion Jones and Cameron Dobbins, both members of the Class of 2012, will finally get their chance to shine at the collegiate level.

The dynamic duo, who played on opposite sides of the ball for the Jays, returned to Carrollton & Banks on Thursday, April 9, to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones.

Jones, known to his friends as “Debo,” has been a standout on special team for the LSU Tigers since he arrived in Baton Rouge as a freshman. This year, his senior season, he’s hoping he’ll occupy one of the starting outside linebacker spots.

Cameron Dobbins, who played quarterback for the Blue Jays, started his collegiate career at Mississippi College. This year he’ll suit up for Southeastern University in Hammond as a slot receiver.
