16th Annual Rodeo in 2008: Tall Tales, Skinny Tails, Fat Tails, and Trophy Fish All Part of the Fun  Blue Jay fishermen gather at Breton Sound Marina in Hopedale on a hot Saturday afternoon to watch the steady procession of fish that are brought to the weigh-in. About 200 Blue Jays participated in the annual rodeo, enjoying jambalaya, pulled pork, cold refreshments, plenty of door prizes, a spirit-filled atmosphere, and for some lucky Jays, plaques declaring them winners.

The 15th Annual Jesuit Fishing Rodeo was held Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Breton Sound Marina in Hopedale. More than 250 fishermen entered this year's rodeo, causing a shortage of official T-shirts. If you didn't get your shirt, Bro. Dardis will be happy to send one to you. A few records were broken, and probably a few rods, too.
