Alumni May Register Online for 2008 Commencement Luncheon Scheduled May 2 at Sheraton Hotel  The Commencement Luncheon last year honored the seniors of the Class of 2007 and attracted more than 200 alumni.
The 7th annual Jesuit High School Commencement Luncheon, at which our alumni welcome the graduating seniors into the Alumni Association, will be held on May 2 at the Sheraton New Orleans, 500 Canal St. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. and conclude by 1:00 p.m. Although late registration will be accepted, we ask alumni to please register by Monday, April 28 so that we may provide the hotel with an accurate guest count. Newest Flock of Blue Jays Are Members of the Class of 2007  Seniors -- happy, relieved, and hungry -- scurry to their tables at the start of the 2007 Commencement Luncheon.
The 2007 Commencement Luncheon was held Friday at the Hilton Riverside with 270 seniors joined by some 200 alumni who welcomed them to the official ranks of Blue Jay alumni. This year’s guest speaker was Dr. Richard Deichmann ’75 (below left), who spoke about his experiences helping to organize the evacuation of hundreds of patients and staff at Memorial Medical Center following Hurricane Katrina.
Steve Morgan Lights the Hearts of 2006 Seniors with Encouraging Words
Steve Morgan of the Class of 1968 lights a match to symbolize the light that each graduating Blue Jay brings to the world. Steve was the keynote speaker at the 2006 Seniors' Commencement Luncheon. Now in its 5th year, the popular Seniors' Commencement Luncheon ushers new graduates into the ranks of Jesuit alumni.The 2006 Seniors' Commencement Luncheon was held Friday, May 12 at the Sheraton Hotel. This year's guest speaker was Steve Morgan '68, a nationally acclaimed motivational speaker who has faced audiences of all sizes, from small groups of judges and doctors to large corporate assemblies to students and parents. His enthusiasm and spirited talk inspired the Class of 2006 as well as the more than 200 alumni in attendance. |
