Warm inside, snow outside

From the Jesuit roof, the Traditions Courtyard takes on an entirely new look.

These Blue Jays are thunderstruck by falling snow.

It seems as if the snowfall is a blizzard of sorts, as the flaky stuff begins
to cover the oaks in the Traditions Courtyard.

At the 10-minute break, Blue Jays flock to their outdoor playground...

... and the snoball fights begin.

Sophomore Aryan Azimi bounces off the snow...

... and snow bounces off these Jays.

A winter wonderland...

... and these Blue Jays are in the middle of it.

Senior Jeff Kozel lets one fly...

... while sophomore Matt Redmann (right) smacks classmate Joey LaVenia.

A classmate tries unsuccessfully to duck a snoball hurled by pre-freshman Patrick Duckworth.

History teacher Dan Dirosa and science teacher Harry Clark enjoy the snowfall on the balcony.

The only snow out of the reach of Blue Jays could be found on top of these Jesuit buses.

A snowman is sculpted by seniors Christian Trapp, David Bienvenue, and Sam Hindman.

By noon, snow is but a memory as puddles of slush dot the Will Clark Field.
