Jesuit Summer 2008
Technology Updates
Jesuit High School

Graduates from the Class of 2008-- Robert Wingerter and
Joey Failla-- move new Dells into one of Jesuits five labs.
Updating Jesuit's five computer labs was a tedious and
laborious project, but these two grads were up to the challenge.

Out with the old CRTs... Stacks of old monitors will soon find new homes....

In with the new...The LCD monitors, besides looking good,
provide more work space for students at each station.

Another part of the summer upgrade included Technology Coordinator
Sharon Hewlett and Network Administrator Dan Wagner
reconfiguring ports to accomodate new server additions.

What are you doing, Robert? Hes replacing and installing a new CPU
in an English classroom. Updates like this one have been going on
in every classroom and lab to get ready for the new school year.

Many Jesuit classrooms have been equipped with the latest technology;
however, the few classrooms that lacked these enhancements are now ready
for the new school year. Here, workers from Creative Presentations
install an overhead projector and Sympodium in a third floor classroom.

Data Base Administrator Stephen Blum works on the new electronic absentee reporting system
to be implemented this school year. Teachers will report absent students via their classroom computers.
