Financial Assistance

In 161 years, no qualified young man has been refused admission to Jesuit High School for financial reasons.

For the qualified, but financially challenged, there is a tuition assistance program available through the school's 99 fully endowed and 127 partially endowed scholarships.

Today, thousands of alumni cherish the Jesuit education they received through the availability of this financial assistance program. That tradition continues today. Each year these scholarships provide assistance for approximately 10% of the student body. In a typical academic year, approximately $250,000-$300,000 is provided for financial assistance.

Financial assistance scholarships are available on a need basis only. These are the only scholarships available at the school.

Jesuit does not give academic or athletic scholarships.

IMPORTANT: Administration of full or partial scholarship fund requires that the student first be accepted to Jesuit. No application can be considered before formal acceptance. The student’s parents or guardian then request the financial assistance application from the school’s finance office (483-3843). The application is for the following academic year and must be filed before April 30. The final grant must be certified in writing by the president of Jesuit High School. The grant recipient must consent to a work assignment to compensate the school as a condition of assistance. Failure to complete the work assignment will result in the loss of the scholarship.
