Regular Order, Day 6

• The Jesuit community, including students, is invited to rally together for the final 100 days of the Minds and Hearts Enlightened Campaign tonight at 7:00 PM in the Benson Arena. The event will feature the dedication of a St. Ignatius statue in the name of the current student body. Food will be provided; please RSVP on the Jesuit website. 
• Student 2 Student will meet today and tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 202. Please see Mrs. Favalora in the guidance office with questions.
• The Fencing Club will meet today after school outside of the Library.
• The golf team will face Newman this afternoon at Lakewood starting at 4:00.
• The Table Tennis Team will hold tryouts tomorrow after school outside Room 407.  See Mr. Webre for more information.
• Top’s tip of the day: Gentlemanly conduct is expected of Jesuit students at all times.

Results:

• Congratulations to the Varsity Football Team as they routed the Helen Cox Cougars 42-18.  Offensively senior quarterback Grant Jordan accounted for 4 touchdowns throwing for 2 and running for 2 more. Juniors Luke Besh and Luke Laforge each had touchdown receptions while Junior Running Back Jordan Hughes added a rushing touchdown. Defensively, Senior Tackle Sonny Hazard led the Jays with 6 tackles and Sophomore Linebacker Dennis Dougherty added an interception that he returned for a touchdown.
