Faculty Meeting Order, Day 6

  • The Creative Writing Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 210.
  • The Fishing club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 228. 
  • All Sodality levels will meet today during the second half of lunch. Seniors will meet in Room 223 ; juniors will meet in the chapel; sophomores will meet in Room 227; and freshmen will meet in Room 224.
  • Students participating in the Tulane Model UN Conference will meet today after school in Room 214.
  • The varsity basketball team will complete pool play in the CYO Tournament tonight vs. Fontainebleau in the gym with tip off set for 7:30.

  • Balfour will be back on campus to take orders for senior rings and graduation announcements tomorrow during lunch in the Commons.  Students who still need forms can pick them up outside of Room 114.  Forms and money should only be turned directly in to Balfour and not to Jesuit.
  • The Jesuit News Network will meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in St. Ignatius Hall.
  • The Pro-life club will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 316.  All students going on the March for Life must attend.
  • Green Club will meet tomorrow after school in Room 311.
  • The Mock Trial Team will hold an organizational meeting tomorrow at 6:15 p.m. in Room 122.
  • The J-Troupe, our Improv Comedy Team, will do its first show of the year tomorrow at 7pm at The Cannery. Tickets are $10 at the door.
  • Juniors: If you are interested in competing for the Carson Scholarship your materials are due today in the Guidance Office (Room 244). The application is available in your college counseling class in Canvas. Competitive students will have above a 4.2 GPA and be deeply engaged in service activities beyond Jesuit’s requirements.

  • Top’s tip of the day: Activities outside of school, which involve unlawful behavior are considered major offenses.
