The Jesuit basketball team notched two home victories during Turkey Week to improve their record to 5-0. On Tuesday night, the Jays topped St. Paul’s 62-34, then returned to the Birdcage on Wednesday to best Zachary 68-46.

Elijah Morgan scored 46 points in the two nights and picked up eight steals. As a team, the Jays shot just above 45% from the field on both nights. In addition to taking good shots, Jesuit players are also taking care of the basketball and playing aggressive defense. The team forced 43 turnovers from the two opponents and only turned the ball over themselves 24 times. Against St. Paul’s alone, the Jays racked up 14 steals.
