Registration: 2018 Cross Country Homecoming on Oct. 13
It’s time to celebrate Jesuit cross country. A big part of that celebration is connecting with the Jesuit team of 2018 while welcoming home those Blue Jay runners who are the foundation of today’s program.
You and your family are invited to the Jesuit Cross Country Homecoming on Saturday, October 13, 2018. The Jays will be running in the Sugar Bowl Invitational at the City Park course at Harrison Ave. and Diagonal Dr. The start gun for the varsity race goes off at 10 a.m. The event allows you to come out and cheer the Jays on against the top teams in the metro New Orleans area. After the race the alumni and today’s Jays will gather for a Cross Country Homecoming Celebration under the blue and white Jesuit tent. Refreshments and lunch will be available compliments of Jesuit’s advancement office and cross country program.

BONUS – Still running? If so, you are invited to the Blue Jays’ pre-season Red, White, and Blue Intra-squad Race on Saturday, August 25, at the old cross country course at Elysian Fields Avenue and Lakeshore Drive. After the Jays race, the alumni will be invited to run in a special “open” 2-mile race. Bring your own refreshments. The 2-mile, intra-squad race begins at 7 a.m. followed by a 1-mile Jesuit 8th-9th grade race. The fun will then begin for alums in their own 2-mile race, which begins at 8 a.m. If you plan on running, please let Mike Monahan know by August 22.
