Regular Order, Day 7

  • Homeroom representatives must turn in Slam n Jam t-shirt order forms to Mr. Genovese or Ms. Nguyen by the end of the day today.
  • To be eligible for the Raffle Ticket Holiday and other prizes, raffle tickets must be turned in today by 3pm St Ignatius Hall.
  • Bazaar t-shirt sales will continue today during lunch in the Commons.  The Bazaar t-shirt may be worn today and Monday.  The cost of the shirt is $10.  Bazaar t-shirts will also be available for sale in Room 126 during exam week.
  • The seniors will compete in the homeroom Tug-of-War competition today during the second half of lunch in the courtyard.
  • The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 210.
  • The tennis team will compete in the Battle on the Bayou Invitational in Baton Rouge today and on Saturday.

  • The varsity, JV and Jr. high track and field teams will host and compete in the Jesuit Invitational Meet at Tad Gormley Stadium on Saturday.  Field events begin at 9:00, while the running events begin at 11:00.

  • The varsity baseball team will continue play in the Barbe Tournament in Lake Charles this afternoon facing Peabody at 3:10. On Saturday the team will complete tourney play facing Hahnville at 9:00 and host Barbe at 11:30.

  • The 9th grade baseball team will play a doubleheader on Saturday vs. Hahnville at John Ryan Stadium starting at 10:00.

  • The 8th grade baseball team will play a doubleheader at Lake Castle (Madisonville) on Saturday starting at 12:00.

  • Students in 8th through 11th grades who are interested in the Louisiana Legislative Youth Advisory Council, a yearly-appointed body of high school students who address issues of importance to young people in Louisiana, should see their guidance counselor for an application. The application deadline is March 22.
