Regular Order, Day 1

  • This week is the beginning of the Homeroom Door Decorating Contest. Every homeroom should decorate their door with a Christmas theme. Be as creative as possible! All homerooms will be judged, and the winning homeroom in each grade will get a doughnut party at the beginning of the third quarter. If you have any questions, see your homeroom representatives or anyone on the E-Board.
  • Those interested in visiting Washington, D.C. this June  as part of the Close Up program should meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 212.  All Juniors and those Sophomores currently taking American History are eligible to go on the trip.
  • The Fishing club will meet during the first half of lunch in Room 202.
  • The St. Peter Claver Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 322.
  • All Sodality levels will meet today during the second half of lunch in their normal room assignments.
  • The Fencing Club will meet today after school in Room 239.
  • The 8th grade basketball team will play De La Salle this evening at Holy Cross starting at 5:00PM

  • The varsity basketball team will open play in the Newman Invitational Tournament tonight vs. Lusher with tip off set for 8:00PM.

  • The JV basketball team will play at Northlake Christian tonight starting at 6:00PM.
  • The Movie Critics Club will meet tomorrow after school in Room 220 to watch Gunga Din.
  • This Saturday evening at 6 in the auditorium the Blue Jay Band will perform at their annual Christmas Band Concert.  Stop by after Grandparents Mass and stay after the concert for a social in the Commons.  The night will be filled with Christmas music and magic.
  • Any students interested in tutoring 7th graders at St. John Lutheran School on Canal Street should see Mr. Murphy in Room 206 for more information.
  • Top’s tip of the day: Possession of another student’s property without permission of that student may be considered theft.
