The Blue Jay Bazaar needs you! From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, thousands of Jesuit families will flock to campus for this fun-filled annual event and enjoy food, refreshments, activities, raffles, and live entertainment. Though it’s right around the corner, there’s still time to help ensure the Bazaar’s success — sign up now to sponsor, volunteer, or donate!

Booth Sponsorship Deadline is March 10

Booth and Sponsor Board sponsorships will be accepted until Friday, March 10. You can also view the Booth Wish Lists to see the variety of gift certificates, prizes, supplies, and gifts booth chairs are seeking.

Volunteer Spots Still Available

You can never have enough help, and parents and alumni are needed to staff Bazaar booths. No experience necessary! Volunteering takes only a few hours, and it’s a fun way to meet new parents or connect with classmates and friends. Sign up to volunteer here.

Two-Liter Soft Drink Donations

A Bazaar staple, the ever-popular Ring a Drink booth is looking for donors! Bazaar volunteers are now accepting two-liter soft drinks of any kind (non-diet preferred) or monetary contributions in an envelope marked “Blue Jay Bazaar Ring a Drink.” All donations should be brought to the Volunteer Office.

Confetti Egg Smash

When you’re a kid, there’s nothing more satisfying than the crunch of a confetti-filled egg on your friend’s head. The confetti egg booth chairs are looking for clean eggshells and cross-cut (small size) confetti for stuffing, which can be dropped off in Jesuit’s Volunteer Office. Questions? Please contact Jeanne Dufour at (504) 884-1869 or tootsiejd@gmail.com.

Calling All Bakers and Frozen Food Makers

Bakers and frozen food makers can also sign up to donate an item to the Sweet Shoppe or the Frozen Foods Booth.

For more information, contact the Bazaar Co-Chairs, Alison James (504-487-3538 or jamesgang256@yahoo.com) or Anne Black (337-739-1021 or anneandy@bellsouth.net.) You can also reach the Volunteer Office at 504-483-3947 or bazaar@jesuitnola.org.
